Inslee Signs New COVID-19 Order for Phased Re-Opening of Washington’s Economy

On May 4th 2020, Governor Inslee released a four-phased approach to safely reopening Washington’s economy while reducing risk to vulnerable populations and preserving healthcare system capacity.

Titled “Safe Start Washington,” the plan involves assessing COVID-19 activity in the state, healthcare system readiness, testing capacity and availability, case and contact investigations, and ability to protect vulnerable populations.
