Every quarter, a committee of PayNorthwest employees selects a group of 501(c)(3) organizations working in the areas we serve to receive grants of financial support.
The recipients of our Q4 2020 grants are:
Operating in Seattle and supporting youth who have experienced foster care across Washington State, Treehouse provides academic, extracurricular, and other essential support to more than 8,000 children, youth and young adults.
A spiritual organization, Urban Impact aims to end the cycles of poverty by reframing one’s view of wealth and resources. Urban Impact’s community hubs serve the unique needs of their neighborhoods through economic development, health and fitness, and missional partnerships.
Guided by core values of dignity, fairness, solidarity, self-determination, safety, and inclusion, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project defends and advances the rights of immigrants through legal services that are critical to helping thousands of immigrants navigate the US immigration system, systemic advocacy, and community education.
A public safety community outreach program, 911 Kids Club provides free photo IDs to kids under 16. The photo IDs can provide first responders with important medical information in the event that the child needs assistance when a parent isn’t immediately available. The 911 Kids club has issued more than 300,000 cards to children in King County since the group’s founding.
Thank you to all of these organizations for the work you do to support our community.
